Having left her job as associate editor at Homes & Gardens in London for the good life in Penzance, Katherine Sorrell has spent the last seven years as a freelance journalist, mostly for the national glossies (specialising in design and lifestyle features). In the course of her career she has also worked as a TV researcher, written 16 books and carried out copywriting for a range of clients, including BA, Royal Mail and Cornwall County Council.
