Other News: UK firms wasting £300m on idle computersUK businesses are wasting around £300 million a year on powering idle computers, according to a survey. The research, carried out by PC software firm 1E in conjunction with the Alliance to Save Energy, found that nearly half of UK respondents do not turn off their PCs at work overnight and during the weekend.
