Businesses with websites are being encouraged to ensure their sites are optimised for browsers other than Microsoft's Internet Explorer, after new figures revealed that Mozilla's Firefox browser has substantially increased its market share. Visitors to the Firefox download site jumped by 237% since June 2004, according to Internet ratings agency Nielsen/NetRatings.
