DPN Member Rupert Hitchcox has just received 40% funding from actnow towards the cost of building his brand new dynamic website www.artisticcornwall.net. Artistic Cornwall is a completely dynamic website enabling artists of all types, from Computer 3D Graphics to water colours and everything in between to exhibit, and sell their work from the site instantly. The artist has full control over their page and what is displayed.
On the site there are forums, voting of fellow artists work, which will display top voted work at the front of each section and on the home page and a comments system. All new artwork and members who have just joined get featured on the front of the site. Art galleries around cornwall can also set up mutual links, relative to the type of artwork they show to the section on the site, news can also be posted on the site. The site will be going live very soon – watch this space!
