Transition Penwith Benefit Party 1st Sept – Acorn Arts Centre

Transition Penwith is a partnership initiative that aims to address the greatest transition of our time: from oil dependency to a low energy, low carbon future. The objective is to become a hub that co-ordinates the research and ideas of a diverse network of groups from all sectors of the community. It has already held several presentations with key speakers including Patrick Holden, Director of the Soil Association, and organised essential film screenings such as ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ by Al Gore. Transition Penwith is part of a larger Transition Movement, initiated by the work of Rob Hopkins working with Transition Totnes. For more information visit www.transitionpenwith.com or www.transitiontowns.org. Please do come and support this fantastic and worthwhile event.
