The Foundation which is one of the UK’s largest grant making Trusts makes approximately £30 million of grants to registered charities and not – for profit organisations each year. The majority of funding is available through the main grants programme. This supports activities to enhance the UK’s cultural life, education, the natural environment and enabling people who are disadvantaged to participate more fully in society. Grants are also awarded through specific funding strands. These are Biodiversity; Museum & Heritage Collections; and New approaches to learning.
