The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is calling on Chancellor Alistair Darling to produce a Budget that will help to win back the confidence of small businesses. In its 2008 Budget Submission, the FSB recommends the Government curbs its proposed fuel rise charge and holds local referendums to decide on road pricing policies. The Federation also reiterates its stance on Government views of tax arrangements for family firms. The FSB says its Budget Submission comes at a time when small business confidence in the Government is 'at its lowest ebb'.
