This is how one local newspapaer has described the new site launched to help promote Newquay and its longest established on-line Guide.
http://www.VisitNewquay.tv allows users to share video clips, with competitions being sposnsored by Newquay Holiday accommodation providers in various categories.

Watching even a short clip can illustrate all the great features of a holiday in Newquay in a way that is unique to the moving image. Several local businesses have agreed to sponsor prizes for the best user submitted video. Anyone can Upload a Movie clip and help to promote the positive image of Newquay, the great beaches and facilities that go towards making Newquay the great family holiday destination that it is."
Gordon is encouraging any filmmaker, professional or Amateur to upload Video Clips on the site. from Penzance have already uploaded some clips featuring Surf Festivals, Hot air ballooning and Run to The Sun. "I found the whole process very smooth and intuitive" said Mitch Adams from ThreeS.
Clips need not be specifically of Newquay. It is a fact that a significant number of visitors to Events and attractions around Cornwall stay in Newquay. Any Clips that show Cornwall in a positve light that would be of interest to visitors staying in Newquay are all welcome.
