Member Spotlight: Jon Stephens - signDynamics.net in Longrock PenzanceManaging Director, Jon Stephens, was raised in Heamoor and attended Mounts Bay School until 1985, continuing on to Camborne Tech (college!) before moving to London in 1988 to pursue a career in IT. This move away from Cornwall lasted 10 years and Jon lived in many parts of South East England and Wales. This career gave him a solid backgound in developing complex, small business IT systems, creating software solutions using the Internet, legacy systems and networks.Jon went on to set up his own IT development & support business, called "DYNAMICS" in 1997, based in Hayle, which later became SignDynamics.net now operating from Longrock Industrial Estate in Penzance. The IT side of the business still thrives today with many loyal customers remaining as Dynamics clients for over 9 years. This has also included many sign and display companies. In 2006, Jon, who had watched his Father Malcolm run a successful sign manufacturing business for many years, decided to fill a gap in the market in Cornwall for quality display solutions and exhibition graphic displays, investing his IT experience and expertise in cutting edge print technology. Jon invested proudly in a new, state-of-the art, 54inch large format solvent digital printer and developed his own unique software system to ensure efficiency and speed of production, from start to finish.
