Your business will be listed on our website, in our annual directory and can
be featured in our newsletter. This ensures that your services can be accessed
by members and the general public
Get work ICT-scout Service
You will have a free account for ICT-scout our pioneering new job-alert
service. Members can also work together to win larger contracts. Emails through
ICT-scout will keep you posted with work required and you can publish your own
opportunities too
Use the website
By adding your profile to our searchable website, you will access a growing
market of people outside the network who need your skills and services. Having
access to the Members Area of the site enables you to email other members and
search the online database for skills you need. There are also details of news, events, training and useful links
Read the newsletter
Each fortnight, we will keep you in touch with the latest developments relevant
to members including local and national ICT related news, funding, training
opportunities and events as well as what's happening at DPN. You can also contribute
to the newsletter with the latest news from your business
Feature in the member directory
We produce a high quality directory of member services once a year, which is
sent to over 3000 businesses across Cornwall and the South West. Annual members
will receive a discounted rate for their listing
Develop your knowledge and skills
We arrange seminars and bespoke training for members, with professional tutors
and members sharing knowledge and skills (training is offered at a subsidised
rate). We also offer free online training that can be accessed at the Centre
Attend events
Network and socialise with other members and advisers at one of our networking
events (nominal fee)
Get discounts from suppliers
DPN offers relevant discounts from local and national suppliers
The DPN Centre
We have redeveloped
the Centre to provide more workstations, a professional training / meeting area
and disabled access. There are 2 main areas at the DPN Centre
Downstairs
@ DPN...
is the main fully
accessible entrance, with a reception to welcome you in. There are 5 workstations
with internet access, MS Office and some open source software. Printing, faxing,
laminating and coffee making facilities are also available.
In addition, there
is a flexible area equipped with new laptops and comfy chairs for use as a meeting
area, overflow workstations or our new Training Zone

Facilities also include scanning, black and white printing, copying,
faxing

is open from 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday

at the Centre. Members also have access to our new video-editing suite*

books
Members can borrow books and manuals on the latest software and hardware
Hire equipment
High specification equipment including cameras, laptops and data projectors
are available to hire at competitive prices*
Get technical
support
Technical support is available at the centre from 9.30am-5pm. You will also
be able to solve many technical problems simply by talking to other members.
Support is also available by telephone (technical support is free for the first
30 minutes per day, £5 per 15 minutes thereafter and outward telephone
calls will be charged).
Our technical staff
also offer a computer drop-in service. Bring in your home PC and our technical
support staff will run a health check for £25. If the problem is minimal,
we will attempt to resolve it. If it requires more attention, we will refer
it on to a member who may charge for their assistance
Office
services
At the Centre we offer high quality printing and photocopying, faxing, laminating,
binding, outgoing telephone calls and general office sundries at subsidised
prices. We offer secretarial services on request*. We also have a post and package
handling service
Meeting
area
Two meeting areas are available to members during regular office hours. The
Training Zone seats up to 8 people seminar style and 12 people theatre style.
This room is available to hire*. The quiet meeting room is available for small
meetings and seats 3 people. Facilities are also available to hire outside of
office hours at a competitive price*
Training
space
Our fantastic new training zone is available to hire for training and events.
The space is flexible and can be set-up to your needs. Our new suite of six
laptops are also available to hire for training. The laptops can be installed
with the software you require. Please enquire for prices and further facility
details*
*All training and
meeting spaces, the video-editing suite and equipment hire must be booked (and
paid for where necessary) in advance and is subject to availability
