I began my work as a muralist ten years ago whilst travelling in Australia. I previously studied and worked as Theatrical Set and Lighting Designer, where I learnt the valuable art of scaling work up to a much larger format. My work can be recognised by the regular use of symmetry and precision, a style inspired by the ancient mandalas of India. I use colour bravely and often paint highly defined images to help capture the onlookers attention. I can also create realistic effects and lettering. Being a strong environmentalist, I encourage the use of organic solvent free paints as they are less harmful to the environment and also to those who breathe the surrounding atmosphere.
