Lighting Designers / Period Lighting Products S K I N F L I N T DESIGN work as lighting designers either directly with the client or with architects and designers who all have a stylistically varied approach. We do not have our own independent house style: instead we aim to bring out the best in any design proposal. We work on a varied array of projects UK wide ranging from architectural schemes to cultural museums to small and large scale residential properties. We are able to undertake all phases of the project, from concept design design through design development and detailing right up to final focusing and commissioning. The company also has a strong background within Product Design and is able to undertake the design of one off bespoke fixtures or luminaires for mass production. The company has also recently launched S K I N F L I N T which deals in the sale of selective original period lighting from the Twentieth Century. This specialises in lighting products of a simple and clean lined nature predominantly from 1900-1960, the ideal compliment to any contemporary or period interior. Lighting should never be an afterthought introduced to solve a problem emerging at the end of a project, but a fundamental part of a three dimensional design process.
